The 2004-2005 Cheerleading Team

The 2004-2005 Cheer Team, talented in tumbling was the first squad in recent years that utilized female bases in pyramids. During the 04-05 season the team renamed itself "The UC Davis Cheerleading Team," opting the title over the former name "Stunt Team." The new moniker encompassed the many skills of a cheerleader other than stunting, although there was certainly no fall off in this category.

The team also sent a partner stunt couple and an all girl squad to compete at USA Collegiate Nationals in Las Vegas.   The all-girl squad finished 6th, bringing UC Davis Cheerleading its first trophy in over a decade.
