The 2005-2006 Cheerleading Team

This was a great year for the UC Davis Cheerleading program!   In August the team attended the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) College Cheerleading Camp in Santa Barbara, California.   The team bonded and learned new stunts and cheers.   In February, the team competed in the Small Co-ed division at the United Spirit Association (USA) Collegiate Nationals in Las Vegas, Nevada.   Thanks to excellent coaching from their new Coach, Obie Gomez, support from their new Advisor, Christina Toy, as well as many hours in the gym and lots of hard work, the team placed 4 th out of 12 teams at their first year competing as a full squad!
