The UC Davis Spirit Squad to host Youth Cheer & Dance Clinic This Saturday, November 14th.

UC Davis Cheer and Dance Team will host the Youth Cheer & Dance Clinic Saturday, November 14, 2009. Below are details about the event. Signups are not necessary just simply show up with your child/ren or group and let the UC Davis Cheer and Dance Teams do the rest! Please plan on arriving early between 8am-8:25pm so that way the Youth Clinic can begin at 8:30am.

What: UC Davis Youth Cheer and Dance Clinic
Who: Children 5 and up
When: Saturday, November 14, 2009
Clinic registration begins at 8am
Clinic will run from 8:30am-11am
Performance will be at the UC Davis Football game on Nov. 14 at Aggie Stadium
Where: NEW THE CLINIC LOCATION HAS BEEN CHANGED TO UPPER HICKEY GYM (located next to Toomey Field)
Other: Each participant will receive a t-shirt and game ticket. Cost is $30 per participant.
Clinic Location - Upper Hickey Gym is located on the corner of Russell Blvd and Howard Way. Parking will be available in the in the North Entry Parking Structure.
Performance Location - Aggie Stadium is located on the corner of Hutchison Drive and La Rue Road. Game parking is located all around the facility and the cost is $6.
Other: Please make sure each participant wears shoes and wears clothes that they can move freely in.

The UC Davis Spirit Squad seeks to promote Aggie Pride and spirit everywhere they go. As ambassadors of spirit, these students athletes showcase their talents at numerous athletic and community events.

The Spirit Squad is currently composed of two teams, the Dance Team and Cheer Team. Our Spirit Squad athletes have a diverse number of talents including various styles of dance, stunt, gymnastics and cheer. Each student-athlete contributes a great deal of time and energy to achieve excellence in academics while supporting UC Davis Athletics.
